We went for breakfast and immediately felt the kampung spirit – everyone seemed to know each other, and it was quite clear we were the only tourists around. Still, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, especially thanks to the friendly boss who took the time to chat with us and offer recommendations. We ordered the pig stomach soup and bak kut teh, and both dishes were excellent. The broth was flavourful without being overpowering, and the ingredients were generous – each bowl was packed with tender meat, stomach slices, and yummy soup. It felt like something lovingly cooked at home. You can tell they do not cut corners on quality or portions. The setting is casual and unpretentious, but that is part of its charm. It is clean, efficient, and full of regulars who clearly return for both the food and the sense of familiarity. Prices are very reasonable for what you get, making it fantastic value. If you are looking for an authentic local experience and a proper bowl of bak kut teh, this is definitely a spot worth visiting."
